DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 01 Arrival Kathmandu International Airport Transfer to Hotel.
Overnight: Hotel

Day 02 Kathmandu to Chitwan (4 to 5 hours)

After breakfast, we travel overland from Kathmandu to Royal Chitwan National Park. We experience you a lots of Safari activities; jungle walks, canoeing, and so forth. Once the night falls down, we entertain you with cultural performances i.e. Tharu dance (a typical tradition dance of tharu culture).

Day 03 Chitwan- Jungle Safari

Breakfast, the next, you get a full day safari activities in Royal Chitwan national Park – if you are lucky, you will see many amazing creatures that you spend most time to looking for; rhinoceroses, Chitwan Royal Bengal tigers, leopards, monkeys, many types of deer and reptiles. Check your camera gear – preferably with a telephoto lens and you will not miss any shots. Overnight will be at Lodge.

8:30 – Departure

Day 04 Drive to Lumbini (3 to 4 hours)

After breakfast proceed to Lumbini, the birthplace of lord Buddha. On the way lunch upon arrival at Lumbini transfer to the hotel then visit Maya Devi Temple and other important sites, Monastery at lumbini after visit back to Hotel and over night at Hotel.

Day 05 Drive to Pokhara (5 to 6 hours)

In the morning we will drive to Pokhara via beautiful place known as Tansen. Pokhara is regarded as a tourist’s paradise where natural and cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples, etc. coexist. You can enjoy views of Phewa Taal (lake), Annapurna and the Dhaulagiri ranges here. Overnight accommodation will be in a hotel

 

Day 06 Sightseeing of Pokhara city including the Sunrise From Sarangkot, Bindabasani temple, Tibetan refugee camp and Seti River gorge. Free time in the afternoon for exploration and boating at Phewa lake. O/N Hotel Pokhara.

Your city guide will come to receive you Early morning 4:30 Drive yo Sarangkot For Sunrise view and see Annapurna and fishtail Mountain view back to hotel  after breakfast and drive towards the Tibetan refugee camp where you can see Tibetan refugees doing different kinds of work for livelihood such as making carpets, making jewelries with semi-precious stones and selling things to tourist. After spending some time to understand Tibet and its political conditions in the area we head towards the Bindabasani temple and the Seti river gorge. Day 07 After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu (200km/7hours) O/N Hotel Hotel

Day 08 full day sightseeing of Kathmandu covering Kathmandu Durbar Square, Buddha Stupa, Pashupatinath.

Swayambhunath Stupa– Swayambhunath stupa is also referred as the ‘Monkey temple’ and is one of the 7 UNESCO world heritage sites of Kathmandu. Situated on a hilltop about 4 Km from the city center this stupa is one of the oldest monuments in Kathmandu and comes from the Vajrayana sect of Mahayana Buddhism. With a pair of eyes in each direction this place is a spiritual center for the locals and tourist visiting this area. The hilltop also offers the scenic view of the Kathmandu valley and the Himalayas.

Boudhanath Stupa- Boudhanath stutpa is one of the oldest monument in Kathmandu valley and one of the first monuments with a written history. One of the biggest pilgrimages for Tibetans the area around this stupa is also known as the little Tibet in Kathmandu. This was listed in the UNESCO’s world heritage site list in 1979 A.D.

Pashupatinath Temple- Pashupatinath temple is the most important shrine for Hindus in Kathmandu. Although non-Hindus are not allowed inside the temple premises, the cremation that takes place around the Pasupatinath temple area is interesting for foreigners. Listed as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1979 this area has a lot of Sadhus/Hindu holy men who are center of attraction for many foreigners. Make sure you want to pay them if you take their pictures as they ask for money for being photographed.

Kathmandu Durbar Square – Kathmandu Durbar Square lies in the center of the Kathmandu valley and has some of the most interesting monuments in Nepal. The Kasthamandap, the building from which Kathmandu derived its name, the Kumari Ghar, the House of the Living goddess Kumari, the Taleju temple and the most interesting the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, now a museum are some of the interesting buildings in Kathmandu Durbar Square. Besides that the program of different kinds and gathering of people from all over Nepal makes it a lively place and the best place to understand Nepal.
